Back in March we told you how 5-year-old Theo Knott from Deal needed to raise £50,000 to pay for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery that would give him the chance to overcome his Cerebal Palsy and walk pain-free. Donations With A Difference were pleased to contribute £1,000 to help Theo and his family towards their goal.
Theo has since had his operation at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital and we're delighted to hear that he has made great progress in the two weeks since, already standing and learning to walk in a whole new way. He still has a lot of physiotherapy to go but, thanks to the many generous people and organisations, including DWAD, who donated to his appeal, he can look forward to a future free from the pain and frustration he has had to endure until now.
If you would like to support Theo in his ongoing rehabilitation, you can still donate here.
