The latest Donations With a Difference Quiz With A Difference at Stonelees on Friday was another successful and enjoyable evening of fund-raising. We will announce the final amount raised in due course but, on raffle ticket sales alone, it will be a four-figure sum.
The overall quiz winners were the Typically Scottish team who registered their first victory after several unsuccessful attempts at our previous quizzes. Donations With A Difference will be donating £100 to their chosen charity, the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
Every individual who paid to enter the quiz was also entered into a competition for a chance to win a cash prize. Catherine Wrigley was the lucky winner of the £100 first prize with runner-up Dani Ross claiming £50.
In the raffle, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet computer was won by Dean Cook.
The second prize of £100 of shopping vouchers was won by ticket number 330. This has now been claimed, well done to Katarzyna Tobli
Third prize, a Blu-Ray player, was won by Aspen James. In addition to the advertised raffle prizes we had a separate draw just for those present on the night with Tim Falconbridge winning the £50 cash prize.
DWAD would like to thank everybody who took part in our quiz and/or bought raffle tickets. Your support enables us to fund our charitable grants that help to enrich lives in the local area. In addition we would especially like to thank Red Eagle Recruitment for sponsoring our quiz, Tilmanstone Salads for sponsoring the raffle and Stonelees Golf Centre for providing the venue free-of-charge.
