Helping Porchlight Residents Kick Off Christmas in Style

Donations With A Difference trustee Ella Brocklebank has a long running connection with Deborah Kellond, the Philanthropy Manager at homelessness charity Porchlight;so when she was asked if we could help make their Christmas lunch extra special, our team jumped at the chance. We were asked to provide Christmas treats for fifty of their service users.

Porchlight works across Kent and the South East helping vulnerable and isolated people get support with their mental health, housing, education and employment. They provide children, young people, and adults with the advice, guidance, and skills to live independently in the future, play an active role in their local community, and fulfil their potential.

On Wednesday, Ella and fellow trustees Will Chan and Cheryl Causebrook attended the inaugural lunch at the Kent County Cricket Club and got to hear some of the stories the service users told, and they were in awe of how they had all positively transformed their lives, with the vital support that Porchlight provides.
