Thank you to everybody who entered our World Cup Predictor competition. With a number of unexpected results it was a difficult tournament to predict, but some of you did better than others. We had a tie for the overall winner between Robert Snook and Sam Weller on 207 points each. Rob was the top scorer in the first section of the competition (predicting the group matches), and also correctly identified France as the eventual champions. Sam made up ground in the second part with his selection of Harry Kane for the Golden Boot earning him a share of the top prize. Third place overall went to Kevin Harrison and fourth to John Sheather. The top scorer for the second section was Simon Gretton, but as a DWAD trustee he is ineligible for the prize so it goes to Peter Weller instead.
Most importantly, we've raised £250 for the charities that you nominated, including £157.50 for Kent, Surrey and Susex Air Ambulance, £87.50 for the Donations With A Difference grant fund, and £15 for Cancer Research UK.
